Welcome to the
Scituate Dog Park.

SCIT.
STAY.
PLAY.

The Scituate Dog Park no longer requires face masks as long as you remain socially distant!

Although mask mandates have been relaxed, we ask that you still adhere to social distancing and have a face mask with you at all times in case it’s needed. If the parking lot is busy, please put on a mask upon exiting your vehicle. It can be removed once in the park. We are also thrilled to announce that the water fountain and the wash station at the park have been turned on….just in time for the warm weather!

The Scituate Dog Park finally opened its gates on September 28, 2019!

From conception through construction, the Friends of Scituate Dog Park raised close to $300,000 to create a safe and secure park for dogs (and their people) from all over the South Shore to enjoy.

This one acre enclosed park for dogs of all sizes has level pathways, beautifully crafted benches, and shaded areas for you to enjoy time with your companion. We also provide waste bags in two dispensers (at the entrance and the far end of the park) in case you forgot yours at home. Your generous contributions and support helped make this wonderful community space a reality.

Our work is not done yet!

We continue to work towards raising enough funds to complete the Phase II construction of an adjacent 1/2 acre park for small dogs. Please help us reach our Phase II goal of $100,000 by donating to Friends of Scituate Dog Park today.
